Buffalo Man Wins $1 Million Playing New York Lottery
Ted Maynard is a retired machine shop supervisor who lives in New York. He likes to play the lottery on a regular basis and this past week it finally paid off. Maynard bought an instant scratch off ticket at Paula’s Donuts and won $1 million. The man commented that he is in the donut shop three times a day and it was on May 30th that he was in the shop and purchased the lucky ticket. He bought a few tickets and lost so he thought he should quit because he was out of money. But something told him to play again and it turned out to be the million dollar ticket.
Maynard plans on giving his two daughters money and the Erie County SPCA will get some money because his late wife was a lover of animals. Maynard commented: “My wife and I, neither one of us were materialistic. We felt if we could pay our bills and have a clean house that would be good.”
