After picking up his claim for $1,400 he checked his Mega Millions ticket and found that he had won just over $140,000.

Sanders is an unemployed mortgage worker and has been out of work since 2007, so this win was truly a blessing. Sanders has been working off and on since 2007 as he has had trouble finding long lasting work.

With his new found earnings Sanders will be paying off bills and then investing the rest. The just over $140,000 lottery prize will surely help Sanders in his quest for a job if anything helping him get by until he can find work.
