Contractor Wins $12 Million in Georgia Lottery
Wayne Reese is a fifty four year old contractor from Sharpsburg. He owns his own business and buys lottery tickets from time to time. Reese recently stopped at a store to buy a Coke Zero and a Moon Pie and decided to buy a lottery ticket. This was the best decision he ever made.Turns out the lottery ticket was worth $12 million. Reese did not even know his ticket was the lucky winner until he checked the Georgia Lottery website on Wednesday evening. The drawing had taken place Tuesday.
Reese was so excited and he shouted: “Y’all won’t believe what’s right here!” Reese says he wants to build homes for his two children, both adults, and he plans on remodeling his own home. The store where Reese bought his ticket will earn $25,000 as a retail incentive bonus.
Reese also stated: “We’re on a new ride now. It sure feels good.” It is amazing how one small decision can change your life. Reese could have just bought his Coke and Moon Pie and went on about his day but he made the small decision to purchase the lottery ticket and it made a big change in his life.
