Many people dread April 15th as it is the last day to file taxes. It has become a day that everyone does not look forward to. But for one lucky couple from Montana, April 15th was a happy day. Adam and Mandy Clark recently hit the jackpot and won $1 million in the Montana Lottery on April 15th.

The couple purchased their ticket at a store in East Missoula and will walk away with $650,000 after paying $350,000 in taxes. The couple was buying their ticket and Mandy said they should add the Power Play option and it was the right decision.

The couple plans on buying their first home and setting money aside for their daughter’s college. Some of the money will also be placed for the couple’s retirement. A spokeswoman for the Montana Lottery commented that the Power Play option can change a five number winner of $200,000 to a million dollar winner.

April 15th will now be a nice day for the Montana couple to remember as it was the day they earned a nice prize. And I’m sure they didn’t even mind paying the extra taxes this year!
