Florida Man Wins $1 Million playing Lottery
It was announced yesterday that sixty two year old Perry Hopkins Jr. of Sarasota, Florida has won the lottery. Hopkins played a scratch off game in the Florida Lottery and won $1 million. The scratch off game is called Billion Dollar Blockbuster and Hopkins claimed his prize in Tallahassee yesterday.

According to officials of the lottery, Hopkins is the fourth lottery player to win a $1 million prize size the Billion Dollar Blockbuster launched. Hopkins is a regular player of the lottery and he always bought his tickets from the same store, the Local Pantry in Sarasota.

Hopkins chose to take the lump sum option so he will earn $650,000 for his win. Hopkins said when he bought his ticket the clerk told him she felt like he was a winner, and he was! Hopkins stated he will use the money to pay off his mortgage.

The Billion Dollar Blockbuster was launched on February 24th and offers more than $1 billion in prizes which includes ten instant win prizes of $10 million.
