Georgia Man Wins Multiple Lottery Prizes
What’s better than winning the lottery? Nothing I’d say, unless you are Oscar Doward of Georgia. Doward a great grandfather of Columbus, Georgia recently bought two identical Mega Millions tickets and when the drawing took place on September 4th he won two prizes worth $250,000 each. Doward purchased the tickets and used a combination of family member’s birthdays to pick his numbers. The first five numbers matched the numbers drawn on September 4th to win the $500,000 total prize. Doward stated that he claimed his first prize a few weeks ago and claimed his second check this week.
Doward commented that he claimed the first prize for his children right after it happened and the second check is his. Doward says he has no immediate plans for his winnings.
Another big winner was Henry Wilson age fifty five. Wilson played the Georgia Lottery instant game Bass Pro Shops $250,000 Cash Adventure and won $250,000. Wilson’s daughter told him to buy a ticket because she had a lucky feeling. She was very excited when he told her the good news of the win. Wilson will be buying a new home and paying off his bills as well as his daughters.
