We all hope to one day play the lottery and have just a little luck. Luck seems to be on the side of those who play the lottery and earn large pay days or win multiple times. For Indiana woman, luck could not come soon enough. Shantay Britman of Elkhart had been experiencing a series of bad luck events before she hit the lottery in a big way.

Britman purchased a Hoosier Lottery ticket at a gas station and was lucky enough to win $6.5 million. Britman is a mother of three and had been laid off several times in the past few months so she was in desperate need of a way to support her family. With the win, Britman will be able to support her family for years to come.

Britman has not officially been named the winner yet. She has to take her ticket down to the lottery office and then have it validated. But she has already stated what the first thing is that she will do with her earnings. Britman plans on relaxing and taking her children to Disney World.
