Italian Village of Bagnone Searching for Lottery Winner
The small village of Bagnone in Italy is looking to find out who won the weekend lottery prize of 148 million Euros. The announcement was made on Sunday that the winning ticket was purchased at a bar in the center of the village so the town’s people were trying to figure out who was the winner. The villagers believe the winner may be a forty seven year old resident of the village as his name keeps coming up as the potential winner. Several villagers are saying the man is the winner and he spent just two Euros on his lottery ticket to win the prize of over 147 million Euros which equals about $212 million.
The man of the gossip denied the claims stating: “yesterday evening I was showing off my ticket and saying for a joke that it was the winning one. That’s how this whole story took off.” The bar owner also denied the man had won stating: “it’s not the name that is going around. But I cannot say the name of the winner.”
It will be interesting to see who won the large lottery prize as the small village is a buzz of who has won. Whoever it is, their life is most likely going to change forever once they claim their prize.
