Catherine Brown age 51 of Memphis is the latest winner of the lottery. Brown purchased a Powerball ticket at a local general store and managed to earn a large prize. Brown was the lucky winner of a $100,000 prize.

Brown won the top prize of Missouri Lottery 10X The Money Scratchers Ticket. Brown is a server at the Catfish Place in Arbela and she found out she was the winner once she got home and scratched her ticket. She immediately called her fiancé to share the great news. Brown commented that her fiancé did not believe her at first.

Brown left for work and put her ticket in a safe place until she could claim her ticket at the Lottery office. Brown said she gave the ticket to good friend and her friend locked the ticket away in a lock box for safe keeping.

Brown plans on using the money for her retirement fund. The 10X The Money is a $5 game which offers a top prize of $100,000. Players are able to win twenty times on a single ticket. Players can win five large prizes and $5 to $20,000 prizes are offered in the thousands.
