Polly Johnson is thirty nine years old and the mother of four children. She recently won a lottery prize that brought her to tears. Johnson was presented with a lottery prize of £80,434 on a small stage outside of the Millers Inn in Low Barugh on Saturday.

The win was one of the largest for the lottery based on postcodes and Johnson had only been playing the People’s Postcode Lottery for about a month before she took the large win. Johnson commented that she was “gobsmacked” over the win as she attended the giveaway with her husband and four children.

She commented: “This is the biggest win I have ever had- the last time I won big was £1,000 in bingo. Another £1,000 prize would have been enough for me so to win £80,000 is amazing.”

Other players won prizes as well ranging from £14,000 to £29,000. Ten other checks were presented to the lucky winners.
