New Hampshire Could Sell Lottery Tickets at Local Wal-Mart Shopping Centers
Going to Wal-Mart is a daily experience for many people. Boasting low prices, Wal-Mart offers consumers a large variety of goods from food to clothing and medicine. With so many choices, consumers can usually find whatever their heart may desire and pretty soon the state of New Hampshire may have lottery tickets available for Wal-Mart customers to purchase.

Rick Wisler the Lottery Director for the state of New Hampshire would like to see lottery machines added to Wal-Mart stores in the hopes that they would boost sales. Wal-Mart has been asked before in the past by several states to sell lottery products and they have refused.

However, next year the state of Arkansas will be starting a lottery. Arkansas is where Wal-Mart is based and lottery officials across the United States believe once Arkansas begins their own lottery, Wal-Mart may become more open to the idea of adding machines to their stores.

The governor of New Hampshire, John Lynch, asked lottery officials to look into ways to generate more revenue for the state through the lottery. If machines are eventually added to Wal-Mart stores it could really raise revenue for states as millions of people shop at Wal-Mart stores every year.
