This past Saturday a New Hampshire woman earned $1 million as part of a drawing for the NH Millionaire’s Club. 135,000 names were in the second chance drawing and it was Stephanie Foy who became the latest millionaire.

Foy was not watching during the drawing but many others saw Greg Kretschmar the host of Morning Buzz select her ticket from the drum. Rick Wisler the New Hampshire Lottery Executive Director commented in a statement:

“We’re very thrilled for Stephanie. Everyone was on the edge of their seat when the winning ticket got pulled. It really brings it home that winning the lottery can change a person’s life. What a great feeling.”

Players qualified via an entry symbol on their ticket were able to participate in the second chance drawing on the $10 NH Millionaire’s Club instant ticket. It has been almost two years since the second chance drawing had been held due to a missing winner from that long ago. The winner came forward in June so now the second chance drawing was back on.
