Joe Cioffi has been playing the lottery for twenty five years. In that time he has never won a major jackpot, until now. Cioffi is the recent New Jersey $1 million winner after he purchased a winning ticket at a Montclair deli.

Cioffi purchased the $10 Club Casino ticket on the 25th of June and he walked two doors down to his office before he scratched the ticket. He was so surprised when he saw that he won he called in his co-worker.

Cioffi had the friend look at the tickets and the friend said “man you just won the a million dollars!” and Cioffi said “I know” and the two went crazy! They rushed to the deli to have the ticket validated and then ran into the office secretary who thought there was a fire!

Cioffi will earn $600,000 after taxes. Cioffi and his wife had yet to state what they will do with their new found earnings. They may buy a house by the shore and share some with family and friends.
