New 'Set for Life' Doorman May Get the Boot
Have you ever played or heard of the scratch off game 'Set for Life'? Well it is a scratch off where the grand prize is (in the NY game) $5,000.00 a week for life. All you have to do is match one of your numbers to the winning number and then scratch off the prize box. If you see 'set for life', you have won the grand prize!

Such is the story for Richie Randazzo, a 44 year old Park Avenue doorman who on May 2nd, became 'Set for Life'! Even after hitting it big, Richie decided to keep his job, that earns him $40,000 a year not including tips, hailing taxis and opening doors for the residents at a snazzy Park Avenue building.

Rumors have it that soon he may no longer have that choice as he may soon be fired from the job he loves. His bosses said that winning the lottery has turned him into a loser at work. Last week he received a nasty telegram from the assistant vice president for the Brown Harris Stevens real estate firm, Paul Ciaramella reprimanding him for wearing short sleeved shirts and spending too much time outside of the building.

The letter stated that; "This behavior will not be tolerated. Further incidents of this kind will lead to suspension and/or termination of employment." A representative for the firm declined to comment at this time.

Mister Randazzo doesn't seem to be too upset about all of this as he shows up in Atlantic City sporting a hot 23 year old Swedish model, Sabina Mari Johansson and a restored candy apple red Cadillac El Dorado. Quite the gentleman and doorman, Richie had no problem opening the casino door for his leggy female friend.

Richie insists that his work is fine and that his bosses should lighten up and that the bosses have been on his back ever since he hit is big playing 'Set for Life'.

"I'm the most beloved doorman in New York...It hurts. I've been nothing but dedicated and loyal to my job. But the job demands are a little too rigid and someone has to stand up for the little guy" Randazzo says. "You're required to stand all the time. They want you to look like a soldier. They are jealous. They're running (the apartment building) like the Gestapo."

Needless to say that Richie is far from shaking in his boots or running scared. He said the gambling, the booze and the girl will occupy his mind from thinking about losing a job he has held for the past 6 years. He said that in the event that he is fired by his 'jealous' bosses, he'll do what any other working man that gets fired from a job does, file for unemployment.
