Newlyweds Win £1.5 million on the National Lottery
Newlyweds Martin and Hannah Adamson were barely scraping by last week and they now find themselves rolling around in money after they won almost £1.5 million on the National Lottery last Saturday. The newlyweds Martin a 29 year old Navy weapons engineer and Hannah a 22 year old student teacher won the lotto after just being married for only six days.Martin has played the lotto with the same numbers since it started 13 years ago and only changed his numbers after his wedding to include the number four to mark the day he got married. During their wedding they vowed to stay together for richer or poorer and it is going to be quite some time before they will have to test being poor together.
But before the big win things weren't looking all that great for the couple they were thinking about moving into the Royal Navy married quarters in Plymoth but are now looking to buy a home of thier won.
Mr Adamson said: "I saw the numbers come up on the television. I thought they looked familiar but went to check them online. I called up to Hannah who was in the bath at the time. She did not believe me when I said we had won the jackpot.
"Winning the lottery has been the perfect end to a dream week. We got married, we are looking forward to the birth of our first child and now we can buy a house and have a honeymoon too."
