Ohio Resident wins $250,000 in Mega Millions Lottery
The September 1st Mega Millions drawing proved to be a profitable one for a Riverside, Ohio man as he matched enough numbers to win $250,000. The man is the latest to claim a second-tier prize in the state lottery game.Robert H. Hand matched five numbers in the lottery drawn on September 1st and earned $250,000. After state and federal taxes are taken out, Robert will have earned a total of $171,500. Robert purchased his ticket at Rick’s Pizza on Spinning Road, which will earn a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Robert picked the numbers 2-9-28-51-53 to earn the win. The mega ball number that was drawn was a 19 which Robert did not pick correctly. If he had, he would have earned the top payout of the lottery. And although he did not win the top prize, $250,000 is a great consolation prize.
