Allen Passmore of Oklahoma has played the lottery on a regular basis for years now but has never won a large amount of cash, until recently. Passmore bought a ticket from a store near his home, the Camelback Corner, and he matched all five of the white balls which give out the $200,000 prize. But since Passmore opted for the Power Play option he got the multiplier of five and it gave him the $1 million prize.

Since January anyone who purchases the Powerball with the Power Play option and they match five of five white balls they automatically win $1 million. On the seven remaining lower levels players can win a multiplier of 2, 3, 4 or five using the Power Play multiplier.

Passmore found out about his big win on television and could not believe he had won. He works as a pilot so he is out of town a lot so he does not get to check his tickets very often. He could have went several weeks without checking the ticket if he had not seen it on television. He plans on investing his earnings for his future.
