The Hoosier Lotto Jackpot has been hit for $3.5 million and the lucky winners are a seventy five year old barber and his wife, both from eastern Indiana. Yesterday both Cecil and Betty Bell were named the winners of the big lottery prize.

Officials say the couple opted to take the cash option to earn their money quickly in one sum so they will be getting $1.3 million before taxes. Mr. Bell commented that he had been playing the lottery each week for the past twenty years. He stated he doesn’t drink or smoke so he figured he could spend $5 on something.

Mr. Bell owns his barbershop and says he plans on continuing his work. The couple have been married over fifty years and said they would like to travel more and help others with the money they have earned. They also plan on investing some money and helping out their five children who have nine children between them. And those children have four children between them so the couple will have many to share the wealth with.
