Oregon Lottery Player Wins $76 Million
It was announced this past weekend that the winning lottery ticket to the $76 million jackpot in Oregon was sold at Circle K in Shasta Lake. The player has yet to claim the large prize and officials and workers of the Circle K are all wondering who has won the large cash prize. The small town of Shasta Lake has only 10,000 residents so everyone knows everyone else. Officials have confirmed that the Circle K was the only establishment to sell the winning jackpot ticket. When the winner claims the prize then the Circle K business owner, Colvin Oil Company, will receive $380,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Roxanne Crane is the assistant manager of the convenience store and she commented that people were coming in all day Sunday to see if they had the winning ticket. The large win has caused a stir of excitement in the small town and everyone is excited to see who won the jackpot.
The winning numbers were 14, 23, 24, 25, 44 and 18 for the mega number. The winner of the prize has one hundred and eighty days to claim their prize. It will be interesting to see how long it takes before the winner comes forward.
